  • 119A - Steps to Your Ministry #5
    Aug 16 2025

In this Abounding Love episode, I continue a six (6) part series on "Steps to Your Ministry." I've covered Step #1 on dedicating your life entirely to be used by the Master; Step #2 on having a singleness of purpose to spread the Good News; and Step #3 on overflowing with the power of the Holy Spirit. But, Step #4 on ministering with a sanctified heart and mind, wouldn't digitize clearly, so instead, meditate Psalm 119:9-16; John 15:3; 17:17; Romans 15:16; Ephesians 5:26; 1 Thessalonians 4:3; 5:23-24; 2 Timothy 2:20-21 and 1 Peter 1:22-23.

In this "Steps to Your Ministry #5," I share on looking unto God's Word day and night. We look at the story in Luke 10:38-42 of Mary and Martha, who is concerned with everyone serving the Lord, while Mary is sitting at the feet of Jesus. Are you setting at His feet listening to His Word; or is your mind preoccupied with service related things? Many things are needed, especially service, but Jesus says, "Mary has chosen that good part." Have you chosen that "one good part?" Are you hearing the Word of God, and acting on the Word? Are you becoming one with the Word of God in your life? Is your foundation built upon the Rock, which is the Word of God? A foundation built on the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ is what choosing the "good part" is all about. Join me as I discuss choosing that "good part," exploring these Scriptures [Proverbs 4:7; 20-27; Joshua 1:8; 24:15 and Psalm 1:1-3], and discovering the truth. Selah! • 116A - Steps to Your Ministry #3
    Aug 8 2025

In this Abounding Love episode, I continue a six (6) part series on "Steps to Your Ministry." Step #1 was on "Dedication, " and Step #2 on "Your Purpose," along with five goals to get results. In this "Steps to Your Ministry #3," I share on "The Leadership of the Holy Spirit." He empowers us to reach the lost, defeat the devil and equip people for ministry [Mark 16:15-18]. In the book of Judges, we find the story of Gideon, ". . . the Angel of the LORD appeared to him, and said to him, 'The LORD is with you, you mighty man of valor'" (Judges 6:12, NKJV). The Angel tells Gideon that the LORD is with him. But Gideon question this; if the LORD is with him, then why are there no miracles and no deliverance, like in the past when God saved Israel from Egypt. Gideon states that the LORD has "forsaken Israel." "Then the LORD turned to him and said, 'Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you" (Judges 6:13-14, NKJV). God empowered Gideon to defeat the enemies of Israel. Likewise, Jesus has sent us, saying, "Go preach the gospel" and defeat the enemy! Unlike Gideon, we have the Holy Spirit living in us as born-again believers (1 Peter 1:23). Jesus, our example, being led by the Spirit, overcame the temptation of the devil [Luke 4:1-15]; the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life [Genesis 3:1-7; 1 John 2:15-17]. Join me as we cover these subjects and explore the leadership role of the Holy Spirit in your ministry. Selah! • 114B - Steps to Your Ministry #2
    Aug 1 2025

In this Abounding Love episode, I continue a six (6) part series on "Steps to Your Ministry." We need to realize each of us has a ministry that Jesus has anointed us to carry out. We are the body of Christ and as such God works through us to do His work on earth. In Step #1, on "Dedication," I referenced Psalm 37:5. We're to COMMIT our way [to roll it over on] the LORD, also TRUST in Him, that He will bring it to pass [also Proverbs 3:5-6]. In this "Steps to Your Ministry #2," I share on "Your Purpose" to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ -- His righteousness, peace and joy. A definition of "dedication" is "having a definite purpose." As the body of Christ, our purpose is to put the Word of God into the world. Singleness of purpose yields the results we are aiming at, that is, to do away with the works of the devil. Prayer, praise and the study of God's Word serves our divine purpose. We not only need a purpose, but definite goals in our ministry to yield results. Join me as we look at five (5) goals with Scripture [James 1:5-8; Matthew 5:13-16; 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-18 and Isaiah 50:4-7] to see how we can get results from the purpose of your ministry. Selah! • 114A - Steps to Your Ministry #1
    Jul 25 2025

In this Abounding Love episode, I begin a six (6) Step series on recognizing your own ministry. Your ministry is actually God's ministry, "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them" (Ephesians 2:10, NKJV). Step 1 is "Dedication." It's not about what you feel, but realizing you have a ministry, because God's Word says you have one. Step 2 is "Your Purpose." Your ministry must be single in purpose: the spreading of the Good News of Jesus' finished works. Step 3 is "The Leadership of the Holy Ghost." Let the Holy Spirit minister to you, making you able to minister as God wants. Step 4 is "To be Sanctified." Set apart for the Master's use by the Word of Truth. Step 5 is "To look unto God's Word day and night." Without God's Word, you don't have a ministry. The last step, Step 6 is "Spend time in prayer and fasting." Although this is the last step I present, it should be first in importance. Your time is no longer yours. You've been bought with a price and brought into a relationship with your Heavenly Father and His Son through the Holy Spirit. Therefore, talk to Him and listen to Him. Join me as we discuss the first step: "Dedication." "Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him. And He shall bring it to pass" (Psalm 37:5, NKJV). Selah! • 197 - How to Cast Out Evil Spirits
    Jul 18 2025

In this Abounding Love episode, I cover eight (8) tools we need to cast out evil spirits. For example, we need to not be ignorant of their devices, schemes or plots so they don't take advantage of us [2 Corinthians 2:11]. So first, we need to know our enemy in order to cast them out. Know that our enemy has been defeated; therefore, we have the authority to cast out a defeated foe. We need to know he's also a liar and the father of lies, who seeks to steal, kill and destroy the testimony of Christians through his falsehoods [John 8:44; 10:10]. His goal is to hinder our effectiveness for Christ. In 1 Corinthians 12:10, Paul outlines the gifts we are given to further the Kingdom of God. One listed is the "discerning of spirits," which is the ability to know what Satan and his demons are up to. This is the first tool presented for dealing with evil spirits. Remember, demons plot for your thoughts and feelings. After casting down imaginations, they must be replaced by truth [2 Corinthians 10:3-6]. • 115 - You Gotta Use the Key
    Jul 11 2025

In this Abounding Love episode, I share certain "keys" found in Scripture that help us understand Spiritual Warfare better and help to unlock our Faith. Keys are a sign of authority. In prison, the ones who have the keys are the authorities. In Matthew 16:19, we read where Jesus gives Peter [and us] the keys to the Kingdom of God, telling him, "And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven" (NKJV). Then in Acts 16:16-35, we see a story where the authority of the key bearer is obvious. In this story, the jailer has the keys he uses to lock up Paul and Silas, acting on the authority of the Magistrates. This podcast explores how such earthly authority in the second sense and Heavenly authority in the first sense, are found in Scripture with Heavenly authority being able to overrule the earthly authority. Join me as we examine these truths, plus for your study on keys mentioned as symbols of authority, see Isaiah 22:22; Revelation 1:18; 3:7; 9:1; and 20:1. Selah! • 68 - The Word of God
    Jul 4 2025

In this Abounding Love episode, I share what the term "The Word of God" means. In John 1:1, we find: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Then in John 1:14, we find: "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." And in John 1:16-17, he states: "And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ." This message is divided into three (3) parts: 1) The Word of God, God in the beginning; 2) The Word of God, Jesus Christ, who came to redeem us from our sins; and 3) The Word of God that lives and resides within us through the anointing of the Holy Spirit. The Word was perfect in the beginning; the Word was perfect in Jesus Christ; and now the Word is perfect in us. As you listen to this podcast, you'll gain an understanding of these three aspects of God's Word. Join me as we look into other Scriptures as well, such as Psalms 107:20; 1 Timothy 3:16; Isaiah 9:6; John 17:17; and 1 Peter 1:23. Selah! • 59B - Let us...
    Jun 27 2025

In this Abounding Love podcast, I bring out the need to follow the Scriptures as if they were instructions to God's soldiers. "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work" (2 Timothy 3:16,17, NKJV). We'll look at a number of Scriptures, which all begin with the term, "Let us . . ." For example, in Romans, we see this introduction often: "let us prophesy . . ." (12:6), then, "let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly . . ." (13:12, 13a). These verses appear as instructions to soldiers on how to be effective in the battle against the kingdom of darkness. "Let us" vocalizes a conscious inner-choice to walk in the Spirit, speaking and living in agreement with God's Word, so we can effectively fight the enemy of our soul. Join me as we look into other "Let us . . ." Scriptures, such as Romans 14:13; 2 Corinthians 7:1; Galatians 5:25; 6:9; 1 Thessalonians 5:8; Hebrews 10:23-24; 13:15 and Revelation 19:7. Selah!
