Knowing God’s will isn’t enough — you need to know His ways. Psalm 103 says Israel saw God’s works, but Moses knew His ways. Millions witnessed miracles like the Red Sea, yet many never reached the promise because they refused to follow God’s direction. They wanted God to move their way instead of seeking His. David shows us the better path. Even after victory after victory, he kept inquiring of the Lord. Sometimes God told him to attack directly. Other times He gave completely different instructions. David understood something powerful: Yesterday’s victory is not today’s direction. Breakthrough comes when we stop telling God how to work and start asking Him what He wants to do. Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do isn’t spectacular — it’s simply obeying the gentle leading of the Spirit in everyday decisions. When we acknowledge Him in all our ways, He promises to direct our paths. This message will challenge you to move from assumption to humility and from routine to real relationship with God. Stop assuming. Start asking. God will answer.
