ALARMING REPORT SUGGEST BLACK MOTHERS ARE FORCED TO HAVE UNNECESSARY C-SECTIONS

(Airdate 9/19/24) A recent report lays out some alarming data that suggests hospitals and medical professionals have been forcing unnecessary C-Section births on Black mothers. Areva is joined by the author of that report, Dr. Janet Currie, Co-Director of the Center for Health and Well-Being at Princeton, as well as Dr. Ijeoma Okwandu, a practicing OB-GYN and Founder of "The Birth Squad" who advocate for the well-being of Black mothers.
