About the authors
As Senior Technology Advisor, Paul Daugherty offers Accenture clients nearly 40 years of deep innovative technology and market-facing experience. In this role, Paul provides strategic advice and counsel to organizations on how to engage effectively with emerging technologies to reinvent and grow their businesses. During his career at Accenture, Paul held several roles, including CEO of the Technology group, where he led all aspects of Accenture's Technology business, and most recently as Chief Technology and Innovation Officer (CTIO). As a visionary in technology innovation, he shaped and executed Accenture’s own technology strategy and advised boards, CEOs, and C-suite leaders of many of the world’s leading organizations on their business and technology transformations.
H. James Wilson is Managing Director of Information Technology and Business Research at Accenture Research and co-author of Human + Machine: Reimagining Work in the Age of Artificial Intelligence. He previously led research at Babson Executive Education and Bain & Company. Wilson is also the author of The New Entrepreneurial Leader and contributes regularly to Harvard Business Review and The Wall Street Journal. His research focuses on how emerging technologies impact worker and organizational performance.
