  • Chad Warner & AndyManCam Crash Debrief - Demons Row: Harley vs Sport Bikes and ADV Cannonball News
    Mar 14 2026

    Send a text

A crash doesn’t need drama to change your life. Sometimes it’s a shallow puddle with a crust on top. Sometimes it’s a road in Alaska that looks fine until rain hits the calcium chloride. We’re chasing the real-world, no-posturing side of adventure motorcycle riding: what fails, what saves you, and what you wish you’d worn when the bike suddenly isn’t upright anymore.

We start with a sharp culture detour, playing a clip that breaks down why sport riders/ADV Riders don’t “hate Harleys,” they hate the superiority routine and the selective brotherhood. From there, we pivot into ADV gear in a way that actually matters: boots, knee protection, comfort trade-offs, and why impact pads often miss the injuries that take riders out for a season. We talk specific kit like Tech 7-style off-road boots, adventure touring boots, and knee brace styles, plus what a medical perspective says about lower-leg injuries and why ADV riders are late to the brace conversation.

Then the stories hit. Chad Werner walks us through his work supporting veterans, the scale of Whale And Wayne Weekend, and an epic run linking 10 Backcountry Discovery Routes. He also relives the Alaska incident that ended with nine broken ribs, a Black Hawk evacuation, and a bill that would make anyone rethink trip planning. Andy Man Cam joins from Spain to unpack a low-speed low side near Valencia that turned into a complicated spiral fracture and a long rehab, plus the best safety tip of the whole show: keep your phone and Garmin inReach on your body so you can still call for help when the bike is gone.

If you ride BDR routes, the TET, or you’re eyeing an ADV Cannonball Rally, this one is for you. Subscribe, share it with a riding buddy, and leave a review with the one piece of gear you’ll never ride without.

  • Project 47 - Ride Thru Japan 🇯🇵 Interview & ADV Cannonball Rally News
    Mar 6 2026

    Send a text

🎙️ The boys crack open some craft IPAs 🍻 and dive into another wide-ranging episode of motorcycle-adjacent chaos. Aaron celebrates a fleeting #1 Amazon ranking for his book Chasing Legends, shares an update on his flooded apartment saga (spoiler: it got worse), and reveals his motorcycle has arrived safely in London, shipped for £1,500 all-in. Taylor's 16-year-old son takes second place at a Swedish battle of the bands, proving the Lawson legacy of "number two" runs deep.

Featured Interview: Adam Lewis – Ride Through Japan
The heart of this episode is a fantastic conversation with Adam Lewis, creator of the YouTube series Project 47. Born in Tennessee, raised in Australia, and a 26-year resident of Japan, Adam is solo moto-camping his way through all 47 Japanese prefectures, filming stunning rural roads, connecting with locals in fluent conversational Japanese, and telling Japan's story in a way even Japanese viewers are celebrating. He shares how his wife's cancer battle inspired a "life is now" philosophy, his upcoming six-month ride to finish the remaining 35 prefectures on a loaned Harley Pan America, and why the best of Japan is found on the forgotten mountain roads far from the tourist crowds.

    Also in this episode:

    • Real estate disclosure horror stories (buyer beware!)
    • Sound surveillance cameras in London
    • Shipping tires as checked luggage experiments
    • Aaron's Ride Out: Back of the Dragon
    • New rally signups for 2026 Americas & 2027 Europe

  • Kerry rides to the Arctic Ocean on a T7 - Tech Talk and ADV Cannonball News
    Feb 27 2026

    Send a text

In this episode of the ADV Cannonball Podcast, the conversation kicks off with a wildly improbable real estate saga that ends in a perfectly timed disaster and a very lucky escape. From there, the talk flows naturally into motorcycles, gear, and the realities of adventure riding, including jackets, boots, helmets, navigation tech, and what actually works when conditions turn ugly.

The episode builds toward a feature interview with Kerry Lebel, who rode all the way to the Arctic Ocean, sharing first-hand insight into fuel planning, weather extremes, camping in remote regions, wildlife encounters, and lessons learned the hard way. Equal parts storytelling, practical advice, and unapologetic rambling, this episode delivers the kind of experience-based wisdom and humor that defines life on two wheels.
