A lonely converter in a secular society

Launching this podcast is a deeply personal endeavor – an attempt to narrate the journey of converting to Islam from a staunchly materialist and atheist background. In the very first episode, the aim is to set the stage by explaining why this podcast exists and what motivates it. The host Momo (a convert to Islam) and Zozo (born Muslim) will reflect on their faith and the purpose behind sharing their story. We will also weave in stories of other converts (especially ex-atheists), highlight the psychological and social challenges they face – often in isolation – and compare these experiences with those of people from religious backgrounds or born into Muslim families.
