Acerca de esta escucha
This conversation takes us deep into the life and experiences of a remarkable woman who has defied limitations and reshaped the narrative around disability, leadership, and purpose.
Patience shares how her journey into the legal profession began, the challenges she’s faced as a woman with special needs and how those experiences have shaped her into a leader and advocate.
She opens up about the misconceptions surrounding strength, the power of controlled resilience, and why inclusion and representation matter now more than ever. We also explore her passions, fears, and the driving force behind her determination to transform lives—especially for others with special needs.
With thought-provoking insights on leadership, social protection, faith, and identity, this episode is a heartfelt reminder that leadership isn't about physical ability, but about courage, vision, and the will to make a difference.

About the Guest
Patience Etumudon is a woman on a mission. She’s a lawyer, a disability rights advocate, and the current Chairperson of the NBA Lawyers with Disabilities Forum. For over a decade, she’s served at the Delta State Ministry of Justice, pushing for justice and accountability. But beyond her legal work, Patience is using her voice to demand change—speaking at major national and international events and challenging the status quo. She's a mother, a grandmother, and someone who believes that inclusion isn’t a privilege—it’s a right. Patience is proof that strength isn’t always loud. Sometimes, it shows up quietly, persistently, and powerfully.
