  • New year, New Intentions and New Leagues: 2026 Could Change Everything!
    Jan 8 2026
It’s a new year, and Megan and Sue have a new set of intentions for 2026 to share. But first they’re checking in on how they did on last year’s intentions: Did Megan develop her green thumb? Did Sue read more consistently? Then, 2026 is shaping up to be a banner year in women’s sports. Several leagues are expanding AND women’s sports are getting a full season of professional lacrosse and the first women’s professional baseball league since the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League featured in A League of Their Own). Given all these new and burgeoning leagues, Megan and Sue reminisce on being part of young, brand new, and – in Megan’s case – folding leagues. Plus, Sue tells us if she’d been forced to choose between playing overseas (where the salaries were much higher) and staying stateside, which one she’d choose. • Team USA 2028: Paige Bueckers & Young Stars on the Rise; and Chris Mosier on the Fight for Transathletes
    Dec 18 2025
For our final episode of 2025, transathlete advocate and Team USA duathlete Chris Mosier joins us to talk about his career fighting for transathlete rights, how sports gave him confidence at an early age, and where he sees hope in the future. For a long-overdue look at college basketball, we discuss whether anyone can beat UConn, which players we’re having the most fun watching, and whether college basketball might be lacking the star power of recent years. We’re also checking in on USA Basketball, which had its first training camp for the 2028 Olympics with Managing Director Sue Bird. Plus: Megan is handing out her end-of-the-year Meggies and we’re playing a themed bench/start/cut of holiday traditions – movies, songs, gifts – nothing’s safe! Dec 11 2025

We also do a little look back on the world of sports this year and find out what she wants to see less of in 2026. Megan and Sue break down the latest in the WNBA’s CBA negotiations over salary, and they weigh in on the Washington Spirit’s creative proposal to pay Trinity Rodman more.
