Matthew 25:40: "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.

James 1:27: "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress.

Being a Beacon of Hope and Encouragement

Core of Action: Reflect Christ’s hope and encouragement to a hurting world.

Scriptures:

· 1 Peter 3:15: "Be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have."

· Romans 15:13: "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him."

· 2 Corinthians 1:3-4: "The God of all comfort... comforts us in all our troubles..."
