Sovi Haze has lived a life most couldn’t imagine. The oldest of four, born to a mother battling addiction, Sovi was thrust into survival mode at just 12—stealing food to feed her siblings after their mother was sent to prison. After being adopted by her step-grandmother, she went from caring for 4 kids to being 1 of 13 in a household filled with chaos, judgment, and emotional abuse. She was told she’d never amount to anything. She ran away, got labeled a “runaway kid” all over East Las Vegas—until a new family took her in and she is the youngest in that household

Now a rising and respected music artist, Sovi opens up about her complex relationship with her parents, especially the father who took accountability and made peace. Sovi is the middle of 11 children that are her Fathers .

But nothing hurt more than witnessing the murder of her younger brother, King Richard, right in front of her home. A football player at Missouri State, his death in 2017 still haunts her. She honors him with #LLKR—Long Live King Richard—but still wrestles with the guilt of being the one who lived.

Despite it all, Sovi holds on to her faith in God, her love for love, and the passion that fuels her music. This is a story of heartbreak, healing, and finding your voice when the world tried to silence you.
