A Nation that Knew Not the Lord

The Old Testament gives us a bird’s eye view of the successes and failures of Israel and if we take notice, we can learn something from them. The twelve tribes of Israel did not follow God’s commands fully to drive out the people who lived in the land that He gave them and they made agreements with them. Every generation leaves something for the next generation. Be it folk tales, family history, family beliefs, and values whether good or bad. What happened that a generation came along that did not know the God of Israel? We learn from this lesson how negative influence affects our children or the next generation.
