Nigel's guest today is Carlos Gu. Strictly champion Carlos has dazzled professionally on the dancefloor for many years and has been part of the iconic Strictly Come Dancing family since 2022. He became the first openly gay and the first Asian dancer to win the show. Originally from China where he grew up hiding his sexuality, he moved to the UK to be free, authentic and to express his real self in a way that he couldn’t do back in China. He also taught himself English by watching Downton Abbey and is obsessed with the royal family.
