In Episode 49 of Our Invisible Life Podcast, Kendra and Laura sit down with Multiple Sclerosis Neurologist, Dr. Rosemarie Walch to discuss all things MS including current treatments, its relationship to menopause, and the future of MS.

Dr. Rosemarie Walch obtained her medical degree from Michigan State College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her residency was completed at Ascension Macomb Oakland in Metro Detroit where she became interested in the field of multiple sclerosis and neuroimmunology. She served as Chief Resident of her neurology residency before moving to Cincinnati for her Multiple Sclerosis & Neuroimmunology fellowship at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Walch is currently at Memorial Healthcare in Owosso, MI. She serves as a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers. Her clinical interests include all aspects of neuroimmunology including Multiple Sclerosis, Neuromyelitis Optic Spectrum Disorders (NMOSD), Myelin Oligodendrocyte Glycoprotein Disease (MOGAD), Neurosarcoidosis and Autoimmune Encephalitis. Dr. Walch is also interested in advocacy to ensure that people with MS get the most appropriate and optimum care available and that funding is a top legislative priority for patient care as well as for research.
