A Deep Conversation With Princess Destiny

Destiny Elmore was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a self-taught artist and has been painting for twelve years. Destiny earned a bachelor's degree in graphic design from Oral Roberts University in 2018.


Her favorite mediums to use are graphite, acrylic and oil paint and digital art. Destiny's artwork is inspired by her heritage and African American culture. Music is also essential in her artistic process.


Hearing a song will inspire Destiny to create an image goes along with the music. A majority of her work includes portraits of prominent figures that have inspired her throughout the years.


Destiny is a published graphic designer, author and illustrator. Her children's book, The Forever Princess is available on Amazon and Barnes and Noble. Some of her paintings can be viewed inside Oral Roberts University and on Black Wall Street in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
