    Enjoy and sink deeply into this last movie session of The Way of the Mystic Weekend Revivals. In this session, David shared an amazing episode that reveals all the “devices” or “hoods” the ego uses to block communication.

    As David shared in his commentary, telepathic abilities are symbols that remind us that we are one. Their purpose is to bring us into the Light of communication or the holy instant. The real question we are invited to ask is: What is it for?

    Reading private thoughts without purpose won’t bring us closer to the truth. We are meant to overlook the error, let go of the idea of privacy, and join in stillness and connection. The main characters beautifully demonstrate this journey back into union.

    💜 Movie Session: The Power of Decision is My Own 💜

    Our weekend movie, Transcendence, gave us a powerful doorway into the ACIM theme that The Power of Decision is my Own. David opened the session by showing how the film’s story centers on Will, a brilliant AI researcher who wants to understand the world, and Evelyn, his wife, who has a heartfelt prayer for the world. The other characters, driven by fear, skepticism, or loyalty, reveal how doubt breaks communication and how fear breeds the belief in sickness, danger, and loss.

    With David’s commentary, the movie becomes a clear teaching on how the Holy Spirit can use absolutely anything for awakening. Rather than focusing on AI as a threat, we’re invited to look at the mind that projects fear onto what it doesn’t understand. Jesus’ question echoes throughout: If you don’t know your reality, why assume it is fearful? The film shows how we cling to limiting beliefs while mistrusting the very Love that would free us. Without the Holy Spirit, there is no escape from the impossible situation the ego sets up—and yet the Guide within us lovingly leads us back to what we truly want: God’s Love. This session shows that our state of mind is everything and that faith in God carries us beyond the world we made.

    Movie Session – “The World Will End in Laughter” ✨

    In this session, with commentary from David, Marina, and Urpi, we watched a comedy to explore the central theme of how we perceive the world and what purpose we serve.

    We were reminded that, as Jesus says in *A Course in Miracles*, the world will end in laughter, and this film helped us approach that idea in a lighthearted yet deeply meaningful way.

    David invited us to consider that the world is a stage, a scripted play in which we all perform different roles. Suffering arises only from our interpretations, and we have two choices: to see with the ego—producing fear and guilt—or to see with the Holy Spirit, who reveals innocence and a happy world.

    Together we explored how, by recognizing that everything is part of a dream, we can stop judging, release the ego’s roles, and open to One Voice: the Holy Spirit, our Guide toward the healing of the mind.

    When we join with His purpose, we attract witnesses of love, time reorganizes for our benefit, and we begin to experience a joyful dream.

    The session concluded with a Q&A, integrating the insights and carrying the message into our hearts.

    Prayer, they remind us, is far beyond words—it is synonymous with our desire. What we hold in our heart is our prayer. We are always praying from our desire, and a helpful question to ask is: What am I asking for? What do I truly want to see?

    As we practice mind training, forgiveness helps us release the false desires that block awareness of true prayer. Jesus shows us that prayer and forgiveness are like sisters, working together to return us to peace.

    Praying for specific outcomes is not the essence of prayer. In its purest form, prayer is a song of eternal gratitude that Creator and creation sing together.

    In this movie session, David’s commentary considers how two opposing visions — two ways of understanding faith and guilt — can be transformed into a holy encounter when judgment is set aside.

    The main characters show us, through their dialogue and humility, what it means to release guilt, forgive one another, and recognize themselves in the same Love.
    Their story mirrors the path we all walk: moving from conflict to communion, from fear to Love, from the prayer that asks to the prayer that gives thanks and trusts.

    Prayer does not seek to change the world or obtain results, but to remember the Truth, to release idols, and to rest in the Love we already are. The secret of prayer is to forget what we think we need, to let go of our own desires, and trust in the perfect Will of God.

    Thus, the movie becomes a living metaphor for the undoing of guilt and the return to shared innocence. When we recognize that we have never done anything wrong, we discover that forgiveness is not a concession but a recognition of what is eternal. 🌿

It was an invitation to see the simplicity, depth, and living presence of prayer. Miracles come from prayer—they are born in the stillness of prayer. As we turn our hearts toward the experience of prayer, not as words or requests, but as a state of communion with God, we are shown the way, and we discover ourselves. Living in continuous prayer is the way to the happy dream, and it comes from allowing every moment and every action to become a conversation with God. David and Urpi addressed questions and shared gratitude at the end of the evening.

    In this joyful closing session, Greg and Jiska share parables from their recent European tour. Their hearts were overflowing as they spoke of the purpose given them by Jesus—one they embraced with passion and devotion. The journey began in Holland, where they got married. The love and joy bursting in their hearts are what they were happy to extend throughout their travels with a shared purpose. The journey became a living testimony to the beauty of extending love and the abundance that comes from following divine guidance.

    Before taking questions and prayers, David spoke about Newtonian science and quantum physics—showing how quantum physics relates to Jesus’ teachings in A Course in Miracles. As the weekend came to a close, David addressed the group's questions and prayers. It was a beautiful way to end the weekend—very deep, quiet, and full of light.
