  • Despite so many years passing, investigators never gave up finding who killed Officer Martin. They met each week to go over thousands of pages of evidence, searching for a clue that would lead them to that red pickup truck and the person or persons who shot Marin six times at point blank range. More than 15 years after the killing, a break in the case and it came down to a car key code, and that one clue opened a flood gate of information and led to the men who killed Officer Martin.
