84. From Foster Care to Thriving Marriage with Micaiah Gray

Welcome to Episode 84 of the Warrior Words podcast!

Micaiah Gray did not see healthy marriages modeled in her life. She lived in a dysfunctional household for the first five years of her life. Then spent time in multiple foster care homes, and finally was adopted by a single mother.

I am not saying foster care is bad (though some is). I'm not saying single mothers are bad (most of us are not). But what I am saying is that most of the time, children do not get to see or learn what a healthy family is like, living in these situations.

And that was true for Micaiah. However, through some eventual training and help, she was able to forge a healthy marriage with her husband, and they now use their knowledge to help others.
