After being laid off from her job in oil + gas back in 2015, Dede began sharing personal life updates on what was, back then, the unpaved industry of blogging. Since that time, Dede has grown her community to over 1 *million* followers on Instagram, was named a top creator by Forbes' 'Fortune Creator 25' list, collaborated with Vince Camuto on their first ever influencer collection and created a top tier talent management agency, Trend, with her husband, Ted.

Bold, honest, informative! I really enjoyed listening to DeDe’s story and her interactive discussion with Mallory on how she decided to leave her beloved Texas Village and move to Nashville. Having grown up in Texas and now living in Tennessee, I truly felt all the things she was saying today. I got married young, had my children close and then we moved to Tennessee to follow an opportunity. We love Tennessee and still love our beloved Texas. I truly related to her discussion of adjusting to early darkness compared to Texas and somewhat missing the Texas heat. 😂
