7. You Can Create Your Own Happiness

Since starting the show, I’ve had a lot of girls reach out to me with questions about bullying. I actually experienced a lot of bullying as a kid, I had to move schools at one point and ultimately dropped out when I was 17, but I honestly can’t imagine how much harder it must be to grow up in an era of social media. I don’t think it’s going to surprise anyone to learn that kids can be brutal to each other, mostly due to a lack of awareness and development more than genuine malice, and the internet just makes it easier because the bully is able to distance themselves from their actions. So, today, I share my story and offer a little perspective that I hope will help you live with less anxiety and stress.
