In this episode, I read Chapter 4 of Sacred Economics -- "The Trouble with Property" -- exploring the urge to own, the original robbery, and the Georgist tradition that questions whether land was ever meant to be property at all. I open with a present-day reflection on the archive recordings I've been reviving, because tone evolves, and so do I, but the questions remain dangerous: Is ownership possession... nor narrative? Is property wealth... or jurisdiction? The jester is smiling, but he's studying the fences.
