60. 2025 Fall Holiday Giving

If you are considering making a donation this year, might we suggest you spend your money on food insecurity assistance? Federal cuts have been pretty significant and specifically to federal food support. Food costs have continued to rise for everyone. This week, we talk with Devona Brazier the Director of Outreach with Walnut Creek Presbyterian Church (WCPC) about their yearly food & toy donation drive. The Deacons Care Cottage doubles their assistance during the holidays (Nov & Dec). They serve guests monthly in need of a little extra help and bring festive meals to many tables in Contra Costa County. Each year we participate, encourage our neighbors, and help facilitate donations by offering convenient drop off locations and by picking up food donations.
