In 2017, Evan Hinson suffered a sudden cardiac event that left doctors, friends, and family facing a very real and sobering possibility - we might lose him. For weeks, the outlook was bleak. And yet, through what can only be described as a miraculous physical recovery, Evan survived and eventually made a full return to health.

But as Evan shares in this powerful conversation, the true miracle didn’t end in the hospital.

In the years that followed, Evan felt called into the medical field - returning to school, earning his nursing degree, and now serving in some of the very emergency rooms, ICUs, and cardiac units where he once lay fighting for his life.

What began as a conversation centered on a dramatic miracle slowly revealed something even deeper. Evan beautifully reflects on how, over time, God shifted his heart - teaching him that the greatest miracle isn’t always found in the extraordinary moments, but in the daily, ordinary pursuit of a relationship with Him.
