Our modern world has been built on science, from our medical technologies built through biology, to our materials built through chemistry, and to our space stations built through physics. There is no doubt that our future will be built on a foundation of science as well. While thousands of scientists have contributed to humanity's knowledge base over the years, a few of them have been exceptionally important in advancing mankind. Today, me and Jerry will be ranking each of our subjective top 10 scientists based on their contributions to both science and society as well as how difficult their discoveries were.
