Strong point & great advice

I was lucky enough to be stationed in Japan while serving in the U.S. Navy. Obviously, my overall experience differs greatly-as would anyone's-but the takeaway is exactly the same!
Visiting different countries and getting the chance to experience life within other cultures around the world definitely had an unexpected, but profound impact on shaping my perspective of the world. Better yet, I realize it made ME a more tolerant, patient, and sympathetic person, while also making me more independent and confident...Basically echoing the point this cast makes! ;)
