This week, in Baileyton, Tennessee, a nice family, on their way home from a religious event, come across a group of what appear to be troubled teens, at a rural rest stop. What the family doesn't know, is that they were entering a situation of unspeakable horrors, and cruelty. The attempted getaway is as dumb, as the killings were cruel, but will occult ties, satanic rituals & Ouija board aided "automatic writing" save them from the death penalty?

Along the way, we find out that Ouija boards aren't just for fun, anymore, that Mexico is a bad place to try to escape, and that apparently, six people can legally pull two triggers!!

I feel so wrong laughing so hard. These guys are a great listen and loved binge listening to them.

Morbidly hilarious

When families are involved they can be difficult stories. Well told and the humor softens the sadness. They deserved their sentences. I feel bad for their backstories and feel parents should be held accountable for the harm they did.

Sad story

I had to write this because Eric Conn was disbarred and there is a show about him. When I heard this name I gasped. Wild to hear this name that far back and years later get disbarred. I am going to say it’s probably the same Eric Conn who did cases in Kentucky and West Virginia. Crazy how stupid people can go years without being caught…

Love the show

When this happened, I had just moved to Cleveland Tennessee (an hour south of Knoxville) two months prior to these murders. I remember reading all about it in the newspapers (pre-internet). I was pregnant with my third daughter and I cried a lot while following the news accounts. You guys covered it well. Tragic story but so glad to hear the update on Peter.

I remember this murder
