New documents obtained by CBC News show overtime costs charged by Vancouver Police have increased by more than 50 per cent over the past three years.


That includes one officer who claimed nearly a quarter of a million dollars over and above their salary.


All of this comes at a sensitive time for Mayor Ken Sim who is looking to cut the city's operating budget, while passing a zero percent property tax.
