#38 - Nightbreed - R (1990)

Aiming to be the Star Wars of horror with a big budget and bigger monster effects this movie should have redefined horror movies to come. Unfortunately due to studio interference and other missteps Nightbreed was doomed from the start. Director Clive Barker's monsterfest was re-edited and released again 25 years later when long lost footage was discovered restoring the original vision. Or at least a closer step to it.
