Opinions can vary greatly and the debate can get heated amongst parents when it comes to organized sports. And then let's throw in the homeschool element and the lines can be drawn.
No matter where you fall on the spectrum, I think we can all agree that homeschool families should be intentional about how they spend their time. We already do that when choosing curriculum, so why not with extra-curricular activities such as sports?
Let's have a friendly conversation about it and weigh the pros and cons so you can make a decision that aligns best with your family. And then, give grace for others to make their own intentional decision.
