As Church Mobilization senior director, Billy Thomas oversees Church Mobilization missionaries, the RV Volunteers program and Church Mobilization missionary associates. Prior to arriving in Springfield, Billy was the lead pastor of Refuge Church in Perry, Georgia. Billy and his wife, Valerie, pioneered this church in 2004. During their time at Refuge Church, Billy oversaw three building projects that utilized RV Volunteers and associates. Before his time as a church planter, Billy traveled as an evangelist and has been in ministry for twenty-nine years. Billy and his wife, Valerie, have two adult children, La Nita and BJ.
