Acerca de esta escucha

In the tropical forests of Central America, vast stone pyramids slowly crumble beneath the trees. In this episode, we look at one of history's great romantic mysteries: the fall of the Classic Maya Civilization. Find out how this great civilization grew up among environmental conditions that no other civilization has ever contended with, learn about the fatal flaws that lay beneath its surface, and what happened after its final, cataclysmic collapse. Love it.

Great info, easy to follow, hits a lot of different factors.

Unfortunately there is one voice actor (he does the poem at the end of this episode) that is consistently unintelligible. He is so difficult to understand, and honestly I miss half of what he is saying even if I rewind. The other VAs are great, as is the narrator, but this one guy is not great.

Wonderful

very interesting overview of what we know about the pre Spaniard Mayans. I wish more information remained from their culture.

Fascinating
