Growing up in eastern Ukraine, Oksana liked nothing more than baking with her granny and going shopping with her older sister. But in 2014, a few months after she moved to Ireland, war broke out and the home she had just left had been changed forever.

The interviews for this episode were recorded in summer/autumn 2021, before Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine and the preceding intelligence warnings. Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦
