  • Episode 63: “Wuthering Heights” / Remembering Robert Duvall
    Feb 27 2026

Is it possible to be a bad adaptation and a good movie? The Brothers examine this question as they dig into Emerald Fennell’s “WUTHERING HEIGHTS” starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi. They focus on how it adapts Emily Brontë’s novel, its wildly vacillating style, its arch tone, its transgressive eroticism, and its lead performances. Afterwards, they briefly pay tribute to the late Hollywood legend, Robert Duvall.

  • Episode 62: Marty Supreme / Best Films of 2025
    Jan 26 2026

What are we meant to think of Marty Mauser? Is he a paragon of American individualism or a scammer hellbent on getting his own way? Could he perhaps be both? The Brothers ponder these questions as they review Josh Safdie’s MARTY SUPREME, his new sports drama set in 1952 and starring Timothée Chalamet as the eponymous table tennis star. They discuss the film’s impact, Chalamet’s performance, the visual style, the moral vantage point, and, most importantly, the film’s commentary on America. Afterwards, they shift gears to reflect on 2025 as a whole, each sharing a few of their favourite movies from the year.
