Richard de Crespigny is a former member of the Royal Australian Air Force, and retired Qantas pilot.


Richard was the captain of flight QF32 when the engine exploded minutes into a flight out of Singapore. Alongside his in flight crew, their heroic actions saved 469 passengers, managing to avoid what could have been a nail in the coffin during a tumultuous time for airline giant Qantas.


Richard openly shares the life events and learnings that allowed him to lead with confidence that fateful day in the cockpit, and what a life in pursuit of passion and experiences has afforded him.
