Zero hours contracts are often touted as the best way for workers to work in a flexible way, by taking work that fits their schedule. It’s also said that being able to work in this way, supports workers to have a better work life balance. So… what's wrong with them and why does the government want to ban these types of contracts. That’s the subject of this week’s podcast episode, where we also update you about a new employment right linked to Zero Hours Contracts.
It's our view, that the more you are able to acquaint yourself with your employment rights in this area, the more your rights will act as an early warning system, which you can use to spot bad treatment or illegal treatment that you may be suffering at work.
