This week, we look at a really sticky case that has just come out of the employment tribunal. This case involves an employer who won an employment tribunal case after refusing to employ someone because the prospective employee was not the right ‘fit’ for the team. The tribunal saw this as a perfectly legal action to take and denied the employee’s claims of unfairness.

We explore the case and look at how this tribunal case, could be used to cover up discrimination.

It's our view, that the more you are able to acquaint yourself with your employment rights in this area, the more your rights will act as an early warning system, which you can use to spot bad treatment or illegal treatment that you may be suffering at work.
