#24 Gold Mystery Story (Grass Valley), Magical Lunch Box

Gold shows up in the darndest places.  But what you do tell your boss when the company's gold ends up in your lunch box, about $30,000 worth?  And what do you tell the judge?

This story takes place in Grass Valley, in California.   I want to give credit to a historian, FD Calhoon, who mentioned this little bit of history in one of his books.  The story took place in 1906.  At least, most of it did.
