You can believe that God loves you—and still struggle to truly feel it.
In this episode, I explore why hearing the phrase “God loves you” isn’t always enough to heal the heart, especially for women who've lived through abuse, trauma, or spiritually unsafe environments.
I share personally how even after coming to faith, and even after growing in biblical knowledge, there were seasons when my nervous system and emotions didn’t align with the truth I believed. I knew God loved me—but parts of me still didn’t feel safe enough to receive it. And in certain seasons, letting God love me in new ways felt surprisingly hard.
💫 We’ll talk about:
- Why knowledge alone doesn’t always lead to healing
- How trauma and survival patterns can block even holy, safe love
- Why real love requires safety—not pressure
- How God gently helps the heart and body relearn what love truly feels like
🥰 I’ll also share two practical steps to help you begin receiving God’s love more deeply, including a simple reflection exercise and an invitation into Relate Escape Place (https://www.relateescape.com/membership)—a safe, faith-centered community built to mirror how God loves: with patience, compassion, and truth.
Healing is a process. But God’s love is not only real—it’s safe, and it’s powerful enough to heal the heart.
