1689 London Baptist Confession, part 4

In this episode, we conclude our read through of the 32 chapters of the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith, beginning in chapter 23 and through the final chapter. These will include:

* Of Lawful Oaths and Vows

* Of the Civil Magistrate

* Of Marriage

* Of the Church

* Of the Communion of Saints

* Of Baptism and the Lord's Supper

* Of Baptism

* Of the Lord's Supper

* Of the State of Man and Death and Of the Resurrection, and

* Of the Last Judgment

If that was confusing, note that yes, there is a chapter on the ordinances — Baptism and the Lord's Supper — and then separate chapters for each of them.

As before, I am omitting reading out every single scripture reference in the confession because this is audio. Any source of the confession you find online will have them there, and they are great and many. Here’s the one I like.
