'Chandrakanta', first published in 1888, and was followed by Chandrakanta Santati. It is said that this was the book that people learned Hindi to read, even the British! Long before any film like Harry Potter or LOTR, Babu Devkinandan Khatri had created that fantasy world of magic and magic, whose illusion is still intact.

When this story appeared on TV, it so quickly captured the hearts and minds of the viewers! So many characters had become people's favorites. There is hardly a person of previous generations who has not read this book by hiding, stealing, listening or turning their eyes to himself.
