Dr. David Galler is an intensive care specialist at Middlemore Hospital in South Auckland, which serves over 600,000 of New Zealand’s most vulnerable people. David is the author of Things That Matter: Stories of Life & Death where he shares some of his experiences from over 25 years in the fast-paced world of an Intensive Care Unit. He is passionate about integrating indigenous culture and awareness of our changing climate into the medical ecosystem that he works within to improve the health of his community and our environment.
