A woman, a prisoner, a doctor who would work against the odds to save as many lives as she could in the notorious death camp, Auschwitz-Birkenau. Warning, this week's episode is not for the faint of heart, a big huge trigger warning for all of the violence and abuse.

a horrifying but necessary listen

This one made me cry. Katie Charlwood, as always, did excellent research and handled her subject with extreme compassion. She doesn't mince words, but she certainly doesn't exploit a subject for shock value either. The way things are looking these days, and with people still denying any of this ever happened in the first place, it is absolutely necessary to remind people of the facts.
