A couple of (the many) inspiring humans doing good work on the planet that Steph got mesmerized by this week via instagram :
Not the Worst Cleaner has 1.7 million followers and 175 M views of her you tube videos. It’s definitely difficult to imagine people living in situations that she commits to cleaning, but her attitude and her message are truly remarkable and inspiring. She does this work so that people living in terrible/unsanitary hoarding situations related to mental illness can have a non-judgmental reprieve from their overwhelming situation.
Jacob Collier’s instagram link is full of examples of him leading whole arenas of people in spontaneous choir performances, among other wonderful antics. His approach to music and connecting people is worth exploring.
Lawn care angels like Blade Mate Lawn Care and Cultivate connect do-gooders with disabilities with folks who can help care for their yards, etc. In researching this I also found Boulder County’s Volunteer page and I’m hoping there are pages like this in your community
