over the course of 72 hours, the invisible string of the universe brought me from mourning my uncle in a rice field to sitting in kirtan crying to connecting to a complete stranger to having one of those friendships and interactions that remind us that traveling opens the portals, we just need to step through them.

shiv showed up exactly when i needed him, as the humans who appear for a reason always do.
