12 | Love Your Enemies Biblically

In this episode of Venture Together, Josh highlights a few verses from Matthew 5 where Jesus offers not just the fact that we should love our enemies, but also specifically how we are to treat those who mistreat us. It is not uncommon to have enemies, whether peaceful or hostile, simply because we call ourselves Christians ... Christ-followers. From a fleshly standpoint, there are many reactions that we would like to have that we believe would make us feel better, but that's usually not the right decision. Jesus explains in just a few verses how we should treat those who trouble us, and the elements of retribution and personal satisfaction are no where to be found!
