#12 - Cameron Ward - Aviation and the Government Shutdown, ATC Conversations, and Stories

This week on the show, Cameron Ward came and shared his perspective on current events and an in depth look at being a professional pilot.

Cameron decided to pursue aviation while in college. After achieving his own private certification, he continued on to achieve his certified flight instructors certification. After teaching for a few years, he had the opportunity to branch into the the world of being a professional private pilot, a role he is currently still enjoying.

On the show we discuss how the current government shutdown has been impacting the aviation industry these last few weeks and how pilots all over are feeling that.

We discuss stories from Cameron's past, amazing places he has been able to travel since becoming a professional pilot, and what it is really like to be on an open radio with Air Traffic Control.
