114A - Steps to Your Ministry #1

In this Abounding Love episode, I begin a six (6) Step series on recognizing your own ministry. Your ministry is actually God's ministry, "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them" (Ephesians 2:10, NKJV). Step 1 is "Dedication." It's not about what you feel, but realizing you have a ministry, because God's Word says you have one. Step 2 is "Your Purpose." Your ministry must be single in purpose: the spreading of the Good News of Jesus' finished works. Step 3 is "The Leadership of the Holy Ghost." Let the Holy Spirit minister to you, making you able to minister as God wants. Step 4 is "To be Sanctified." Set apart for the Master's use by the Word of Truth. Step 5 is "To look unto God's Word day and night." Without God's Word, you don't have a ministry. The last step, Step 6 is "Spend time in prayer and fasting." Although this is the last step I present, it should be first in importance. Your time is no longer yours. You've been bought with a price and brought into a relationship with your Heavenly Father and His Son through the Holy Spirit. Therefore, talk to Him and listen to Him. Join me as we discuss the first step: "Dedication." "Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him. And He shall bring it to pass" (Psalm 37:5, NKJV). Selah!
