#112 Sheryl Roush: Breaking Barriers

Sheryl Roush is a subject matter expert, author, consultant, and presenter in the art of communication. CEO of Sparkle Presentations, Inc, based in New York, she works with organization to activate authentic connection, which results in increased engagement, morale, service, trust, collaboration, innovation, and business.

As a 45-year veteran in marketing design and printing, Sheryl has owned five award-winning graphic design studios, and has written five books on graphic arts, including the Solid Gold Newsletter Design for Toastmasters, which became a course book at the University of Ottawa, Canada.

Sheryl has broken barriers her entire life, starting all the way back at age 16 starting her own business and being the first woman on the men's water polo team in high school (and lettering!). Today we explore her entrepreneurial journey from those early days through her time as the Director for the U.S. Olymipc Training Center in San Diego, media coach for the NFL's Charger Girl pro cheerleaders, and much more.
