Acerca de esta escucha
It’s every parent’s worst nightmare: drug-laced Halloween candy. When young Tim O’Bryan ate a poisoned treat, the community of Pasadena thought they were looking for a monster. Tim’s dad told horror stories of a strange hand in a darkened doorway that gave him the deadly candy. But police soon discovered that the perpetrator was much more insidious than anything in any slasher film. When The Man who Killed Halloween was finally made to pay for his crimes, locals celebrated in the street, yelling “trick or treat” and pelting any Candyman sympathizers with leftover Halloween sweets. His antics still have parents double checking their kids’ holiday hauls and opting for controlled trick or treating events with trusted friends, but the Candyman’s legacy is much more ominous than the story of what actually happened in a small Texas town in 1974.
