In this episode, we turn to the second key tenet of discipleship groups: moral purity. Purity itself is not the end goal. Instead, we talk about it as a necessary foundation for effective discipleship and faithful service in Christ’s kingdom.
We reflect on why sexual purity became such a central element in our discipleship groups. Honestly, it wasn’t something we carefully designed from the beginning. It emerged from experience. As we looked back on our journey together, we realized that confronting hidden struggles—especially those related to sexual temptation—became one of the most powerful catalysts for real change, deeper trust, and long-term spiritual growth.
In this conversation, we share some of the practical structures that have helped us in accountability, along with tools that have been valuable in the pursuit of freedom. We also talk about the deeper relational dynamics that develop when men choose to walk in honesty before God and before one another.
At the heart of it all is this conviction: freedom is not found in isolation. It grows in transparency, in brotherhood, and in a life that stays fixed on Christ.
