1: How to Lay the Foundation for a Luxxe Life

About this episode: This week’s episode, Chynna discusses the importance of laying the proper foundation in order to grow deeper in your walk with God. 
Time Stamps: 2:42 - The way you build your house is the way it will fall. 2:47 - The foundation you lay in your early years in your walk will reveal itself later on. 2:58- Luke 6: 47-49 -  As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice, I will show you what they are like. 48 They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. 49 But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete.” 4:09- Point 1: Prayer  4:17 - Prayer is communicating with God. 4:50- Philippians 4:6- Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 8:05 - Point 2: Christian community  9:07 -Galatians 6:2 - Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ. 11:09- Point 3: Reading God’s word  11:35 - God’s word should be the standard that you live your life according to. 11:56- Romans 15:4- For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope and overflow with confidence in His promises. 14:10 - Point 4 - Making time for God 14:37 -James 4:8-Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
